Ingredients
- Eggplant (Baingan) – 1 large
- Garlic Cloves (finely chopped) – 4-5 pcs
- Oil – 10 ml
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Wash and dry the eggplant properly.
- Make slits in the eggplant and insert garlic cloves into the slits. Brush oil evenly over the eggplant surface.
- Select Roast mode at 200°C. Roast for 8–10 minutes depending on the size of the eggplant, turning halfway if required.
- Once roasted, peel the skin and mash the eggplant as needed for bharta or chokha preparations.
- For making your recipe (bharta/chokha), add choice of ingredients like chopped onion, coriander leaves, green chillies and in house spices etc. Serve hot & enjoy.
