Ingredients
- Chicken- 500 g chicken (curry cut)
- Ginger-garlic paste 10 g
- Turmeric powder 1 g
- Kashmiri red Chilli powder 2 g
- Lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon) 10ml
- Salt to taste
- Hung curd 40g
- Melted butter 20-30g
- Butter (remaining butter) 70-80 g
- 1 clove
- 1 small piece cinnamon
- 1 star anise
- 1 cardamom
- Ginger-garlic paste 20g
- Onion paste 150 g
- Tomato paste 200 g
- Lemon juice 10ml
- Kashmiri red Chilli powder 4g
- Cashew powder 30g
- Melon seed powder 30g
- Coriander powder 3 g
- Cumin powder 3g
- Garam masala powder 3 g
- Fresh cream 80 g
- Water 200ml
- Kasuri methi 2g
- 1 piece coal
- 1 small bowl
- Ghee 10 g
Directions
- Take a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red Chilli powder, lemon juice, salt, hung curd, and butter.
- Add the chicken and mix everything well. Keep it aside for a few minutes.
- Take the Combi pan. Add butter, whole spices (clove, cinnamon, star anise, cardamom).
- Add ginger-garlic paste, onion paste, tomato paste, lemon juice, and all powdered spices. Mix well so there are no lumps. Add 200ml of water & mix well.
- Slide the Combi pan (base gravy) in Level 1.
- Spread the marinated chicken on the Bake Tray and Slide it in Level 2.
- Close the door & Turn the SmartSwitch to COMBI COOKER mode. Select COMBI MEAL function & set temperature to 200°C & time for 15minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking. (The unit will steam/preheat for about 5–7 minutes before cooking)
- When 3 minutes are left, open the door. Add the cooked chicken into the Combi pan with gravy, mix it well. Sprinkle Kasuri methi on top.
- Close the door and let it finish cooking.
- Heat a piece of coal on the gas until red hot. Place it in a small bowl inside the butter chicken.
- Pour a little ghee on the coal. Cover the dish for 10 minutes to get a smoky tandoor flavor. Serve hot with choice of your bread.
