Cheesy Thecha Treats

Specially designed for the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone, this recipe lets you cook two delicious snacks together at the same time using SYNC mode for perfectly timed results. A spicy and creamy Maharashtrian-inspired platter featuring crispy pita pockets and cheesy puff bites stuffed with flavorful cream cheese thecha spread.

Ingredients

  • Green Chilli – 25g
  • Raw Peanut – 25g
  • Oil – 10ml
  • Garlic – 18g
  • Coriander Leaves – 15g
  • Salt – to taste
  • Cream Cheese – 80g
  • Milk – 20ml
  • Pita Bread – 5 pcs (cut into halves)
  • Thecha Cheese Spread – as required
  • Grated Mozzarella Cheese – 20g
  • Samosa Sheet – 10 pcs (cut into halves and again halved)
  • Thecha Cheese Spread – as required

Directions

  1. Add green chilli, peanuts, garlic, coriander leaves, salt, and oil into a grinder jar. Grind into a caorse thecha mixture.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Add cream cheese and milk. Mix well until creamy and spreadable.
  3. Fill the pita bread pockets with the prepared thecha cheese spread.
  4. For the puff, place some thecha cheese spread and mozzarella cheese onto the samosa sheet. Fold and seal properly.
  5. Arrange both the pita pockets and cheese puffs in the air fryer basket.
  6. Select Bake Mode at 180°C for 5 minutes. Press “match” & start.
  7. Once golden and crisp, serve hot with ketchup or dip of your choice.
