Crispy and flavourful karela chips coated with Indian spices and besan, air-fried to perfection with minimal oil.

Ingredients
- Karela (Bitter Gourd) – 100–150g
- Besan – 14g
- Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – ½ tsp (optional)
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1–2 tbsp
Directions
- Wash and slice the karela into thin rounds. Remove hard seeds if required.
- Add salt to the sliced karela and rest for 10–15 minutes.
- Squeeze out excess water and pat dry completely using a kitchen towel.
- Add besan, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and little oil. Mix well to coat evenly.
- Arrange the coated karela slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Select Air Fry Mode at 180°C for 12 minutes.
- Shake the basket halfway through for even crisping.
- Once crispy and golden, serve hot.
