French Toast

Classic soft and fluffy French toast with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon, crisped perfectly in combi crisp mode.

Ingredients

  • Large egg 1
  • Whole milk 20 ml
  • Fresh cream 10 ml (optional)
  • Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder a pinch (~0.1-0.2 g)
  • Bread slices 4
  • Vegetable oil 1 tsp (~7-8 ml)
  • Butter 1 tsp (7-8 g)
  • Icing/powder sugar 12 g

Directions

  1. In a bowl, whisk egg, milk, fresh cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon powder.
  2. Dip each bread slice into the mixture, coating both sides evenly.
  3. Lightly grease the crisper tray with oil/butter.
  4. Place soaked bread slices on the tray.
  5. Move the SmartSwitch to AIRFRY mode. Select AIRFRY function, set temperature at 200°C for 8 minutes. Press START/STOP (FLIP IN BETWEEN).
  6. Once golden and crisp, remove carefully. Dust with icing/powder sugar and serve hot.
