Kerala Chips & Sweet Potato Fries Duo

Ingredients
- Sweet potato- 300-350gm (chopped into julienne/stick)
- Lemon juice- 1 pc
- Amchur powder- 2g
- Salt to taste
- Choice of seasoning like peri-peri
- Karela (bitter gourd) – 100–150 g
- Besan – 14 g
- Cumin powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp (optional)
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 1–2 tbsp (for coating)
Directions
- Add sweet potato (300–350 g, julienne cut) in a bowl. Add amchur, lemon juice & salt to taste and a little oil, toss well.
- Add salt to taste and a little oil, toss well.
- Place in basket in a single layer.
- Add choice of seasoning (like peri-peri) and mix.
- Wash and slice karela into thin rounds (remove hard seeds if needed).
- Add salt and rest for 10–15 minutes, then squeeze out excess water. Pat dry completely.
- Add besan, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, chilli powder, and little oil, mix well to coat evenly.
- Arrange in basket in a single layer.
- Press the button 1, select “air fry” function at 180°C for 15min. Then press button 2, select “air fry” function at 180°C for 12 min Press on button “sync” & press start.
- Cook until crispy and golden, serve hot. (if you think you need more crunchy chips air fry it for more 3-5minutes at same temperature). Serve hot
