Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour 280-300 g;
  • Instant yeast 3 g;
  • Butter (melted) 28 g;
  • Water (lukewarm) 120 g;
  • Milk 60 g;
  • Sugar 12 g;
  • Salt 4-5 g

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine lukewarm water, sugar and yeast. Let it rest for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, milk and melted butter. Knead into a soft dough.
  3. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape into smooth balls.
  4. Place the shaped dough balls in a greased baking tray, keeping them slightly close to each other.
  5. Cover and let them proof in the same tray until doubled in size OR move the SmartSwitch to COMBI COOKER mode, select PROVE, and set time for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  6. Once proofed, prepare the unit: pour 200 ml (1 cup) water into the combi pan.
  7. Place the crisper plate over the combi pan, then place the baking tray with proofed dough on top.
  8. Close the door, select COMBI BAKE, set temperature to 180*C and time to 12 minutes. Press START/STOP to begin cooking.
  9. Once baked, remove the tray carefully and brush pav with butter.
  10. Serve warm.
