Ingredients
- Wheat flour (atta) 250-260 g
- Baking powder 1.5 g
- Ajwain (carom seeds) 0.8 g
- Salt 4 g
- Ghee 20 g
- Sugar 4 g
- Water (for kneading) 130–160 g (as needed)
- Sattu (roasted gram flour) 120-130g
- Coriander (finely chopped) 7g
- Green Chilli (finely chopped) 5g
- Finely chopped onion 40-50g
- Ginger garlic paste 5g
- Red Chilli pickle 1pc
- Kalonji (nigella seeds) 1g
- Ajwain 0.5g
- Salt to taste
- Lemon juice 5ml
- Mustard oil 7g
Directions
- Take all ingredients mentioned in “for dough” apart from water, mix well. Add water in batches and knead into a dough. Keep it aside.
- Take a bowl, prepare veggies as mentioned next to them and mix all ingredients together well to make the stuffing.
- Divide the dough into medium balls, flatten slightly, fill with sattu stuffing, seal and shape into smooth litti balls.
- Take the combi pan, add 200–300 ml water, place the crisper plate over it and brush some oil.
- Place the litti balls on the crisper plate and slide the combi pan into LEVEL 1.
- Move the SmartSwitch to Cooker mode, select Steam function and cook for 10 minutes. (the unit will steam for 5-7minutes before cooking).
- Then move the SmartSwitch to Air Fryer mode, choose airfryer function, set temperature 180°C and cook for 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove and brush with ghee. Serve hot with chokha, onion, green Chilli and lemon.
