Ingredients

  • Moong dal 100 g;
  • Hot water 800 ml;
  • Turmeric 2 g;
  • Salt as per taste;
  • Ghee 15 ml;
  • Whole red chilli 1 pc;
  • Whole cumin seeds 2 g

Directions

  1. Place moong dal, hot water and turmeric in the combi pan and mix well.
  2. Slide the pan into Level 1.
  3. Close the door and flip the SmartSwitch to COMBI COOKER mode.
  4. Select COMBI MEAL, set temperature to 240°C and time to 20 minutes.
  5. Press START/STOP to begin cooking (unit will steam for 5-7 minutes before cooking).
  6. Once cooking is complete, remove the pan carefully.
  7. Prepare tadka by heating ghee, add cumin seeds and whole red chilli, then add salt. Pour tadka over the cooked dal.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy.
