Moong Dal Khichdi

Ingredients

  • rice 300g
  • moong dal 150g
  • water 1500-2000ml
  • turmeric powder 2g
  • ghee 100g
  • mustard seeds 2g
  • ginger 2g
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Wash rice and moong Dal. Take combi pan, add rice, dal, water, and turmeric to the combi pan. Slide the pan into Level 1 in the Ninja Combi.
  2. Move the SmartSwitch to Cooker, select combi meal function, set temperature 240°C and time 25 minutes (the unit will steam for 5-7 minutes before cooking).
  3. Once cooking done give it tadka by using additional ingredients for making it more flavorful.
