A light, tangy South Indian soup made with tomatoes, tamarind, and aromatic spices—comforting, flavorful, and perfect with rice or as a warm drink.

Ingredients
Oil - 20ml

Green chillies 2 pc (slit)
Garlic -5-6 pc (rough chopped)
Red chilli 3-4pc
Mustard seedss ½tsp, 2.5g
Hing ½tsp, 2.5g
Curry leaves 12-15pc

Tomato 2pc big (puree)
Coriander steam- handful
Fresh coriander leaves handful
Turmeric powder ¼tsp, 0.75g
Jaggery 1 tbsp, 15g
Salt to taste
Rasam powder- 1tbsp,12-15g
Tamarind puree- 20g
Water as required
Directions
Move SmartSwitch to airfry mode, select sear/saute fucntion adjust temperature at HI 5. Take combi pan, insert that into Level 1.
Pour oil into it, heat it for 1minutes. Add ingredients mentioned in “for tadka”. Let it crackle for 1-2minutes.
Now, pour tomato puree, coriander stem, green chilli & salt to it and cook it for 7-8minutes.
Add turmeric powder, jaggery, rasam powder, tamarind puree & water.
- for thick consistency: 2cup
- for thinner consistency: 3-4cup
Note: adjust salt as needed. Cook it for 5-6minutes. Give it good boil.Garnish it with coriander and serve hot with choice of rice.
