Walnut Banana Cake

Ingredients

  • Water-350ml
  • Mashed ripe banana-200g
  • Refine flour-120g
  • Baking powder-4g
  • Baking soda-2g
  • Brown sugar-20g
  • Sugar-60g
  • Unsalted butter-40g
  • Milk-100ml
  • Vanilla essence -5ml
  • Walnut-40g
  • Salt-1g

Directions

  1. Place water in combi pan. Put Crisper plate over it. Slide the pan into Level 1.
  2. For CAKE BATTER: Take a bowl, mash the ripe banana followed by adding all liquid ingredients like vanilla essence and butter (NOTE- avoid adding salt if you are using salted butter).
  3. Put all dry ingredients in same bowl, mix it well together by adding milk (NOTE- no lumps should be there).
  4. Pour this batter into grease cake tin, garnish top with walnut & transfer this cake tin into COMBI PAN over crisper plate.
  5. Move the SmartSwitch to Cooker mode, choose function COMBI BAKE, set temperature 180°C and bake it for 15minutes (the unit will preheat for 15-20 minutes before cooking).
  6. Once baking done, insert toothpick it should come out clean. Let it cool down for 5-10minutes before serving. Enjoy.
